She spent most of her life raising her children and partnering with her husband in managing apartment rentals. She also volunteered her time at KOH Osteopathic Hospital in the neonatal unit and was a dedicated volunteer for elections as a Democratic representative. Barbara loved to dance, especially the jitterbug with her partner, Jim like no other. She also loved to be around her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.Visitation will be held at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.Funeral mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church on April 11, 2018 at 10:30 am with Monsignor David Cox of Mary Immaculate Church officiating.
